Criteria for delivering Services
- Poor and needy patients
- Admitted patients
- Patients from emergency ward
- Disaster Patient (Accident case)
- Patient whose identity is unknown
- Chronic patient (For 1 year only)
Conditions
- Patient recommended from concerned departments of Bir Hospital and other community hospitals
- Oral interview with patient’s kin to identify family background and economic condition of patient
- Recommendation letter from Municipality/Rural Municipality (if available)
- Medicines and surgical goods are provided as prescribed by Medical Doctor
- Priority is given to acute cases
Operation
- Patient recommended from concerned departments of Bir Hospital and other community hospitals
- Minimum Ward visits should be 3 times per week covering all wards within a week

- General Health Checkup
- Gynecology
- Dental service
- Medicine distribution and counseling
- Screening and referring serious cases for further treatment
- Follow-up of referred cases

- Unavailability of health facility
- Disaster affected area

- Accessibility
- GNHA partner school areas
- Partnering with District Health Office, Municipality/Rural municipality, Health Post and health institutions (e.g. Tilganga Eye Hospital, Om Chabahil Dental Hospital)
- Availability of local volunteers
Operation
- 4 Health Camps per year (1 additional camp as contingency)
- 3 sites per camp
- Health education
- Registration and channeling of patient to different department
- Check-up and counseling
- Medicine dispensing and counseling
- Screening and referring serious cases for further treatment
- Follow-up of referred cases

Criteria
- Mothers having small children
- Main/ Sole bread earner of the family
- Children and youths
- Acute cases
- High probability that patient can resume his/her role and responsibility
- Cancer patient and Spinal injury or any disease for which free treatment is provided under Government program is only eligible after benefited by government.
- If the number of applicants exceeds available fund , benefitting patient is selected by lottery
Excluding factor
- Diseases of common nature where treatment is inexpensive.
- Cases for treatment in private hospital
- The patients insured under any medical insurance policy
- Patients with an addiction (alcohol, drugs)
Operation
- Patient recommended as poor and vulnerable from concerned local authority.
- Referral cases from Mobile Health Camps have no financial limit
- Whatsoever mentioned above, the in charge of Christine Dispensary will examine or inquire from every aspect to ensure that the patient is poor, needy and vulnerable.
- Application form with photo
- Confirmation letter from rural municipality/ Municipality showing patient is very poor and could not afford for treatment and medicine.
- Proof of hospitalization or copy of surgery plan or copy of expensive treatment plan
- Copy of expenditure
Fund Limitation
- Ordinary poor patient : NRs. 30,000.00 (Thirty Thousand) per patient
- Spinal injury patient: NRs. 75,000.00 (Seventy Five Thousand) per patient
